After completing our prototype wire frame, our team's next step was a think aloud session with potential users. The purpose of this think aloud is to determine possible flaws in the navigation of the software. Our team chose to focus on a broader scale, meaning we did not focus on confusing phrasing for buttons, but rather on the need of the user and what they desired and needed at certain screens. We gave the user a description of our persona, and the scenario they would be encountered with. Feel free to review the persona and scenario below.
Essentially, the user testers were asked to navigate through the software with the purpose of finding a movie to see with friends. The users were instructed that they were currently shopping at around 6pm in downtown Chicago. This would hopefully lead them to find an understanding of Linda's motivations and help direct them in the think aloud session. Testers were instructed to describe what they were doing and why so that any issues they stumbled upon could be tackled by our team.

The user testing think aloud session resulted in a reformation of our wireframes and a new flow diagram to help make that flow understandable. The think alouds helped in some minor word phrasings for buttons, but primarily, we noticed our team's solution to connecting with friends was not sufficient. This led us to restructure the flow of our software. We also found a need to restructure the info page about movies, as users were very confused by it. Below you can find the revised flow diagram and wire frame.
